We really liked our stay at Daien-in temple. The people were nice and it was great being able to attend the morning ceremony. I think even if you’re not into Japanese-style breakfast or food, you could find something to eat, as the meals had plenty of food. After all it’s about embracing the full temple experience. When we arrived it seemed that they expected us on a different date, but everything got sorted out in the background and we could move in to our room quickly after check-in. We can recommend!!
From StaffWe are truly honored to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay at Daien-in. The entire staff is delighted that you were able to fully experience the unique aspects of our temple, such as the morning services and the hearty meals. However, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during check-in. We would like to thank you once again for your understanding and flexibility despite the situation. Please do come back to experience the temple’s serene atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you again.

This was honestly the best part of our 1 month trip in Japan. We were extremely satisfied with the temple stay and facilities. Room was beautiful and clean and the location perfect for evening walks through Okunoin. The whole Koyasan site offers a lot of spiritual meaning and beautiful rituals. Thank you very much for the whole experience. We loved it
