We enjoyed our visit. The monks were very friendly and serviceable. Our room was large and beautiful. Everything was clean and surprisingly modern. We participated in the morning service and the following guided tour through the different parts of the temple. The tour was only in Japanese so we did not understand a single word. It would have been helpful to have a leaflet in English language. The English version of the internet site for booking not so comfortable. It took me some time to figure out the booking process and the offers. Maybe it could be improved to be more user-friendly.

The monks were friendly and welcoming, food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the ceremony in the morning! morning!

THe staff and monks were very welcoming and attentive. Our room was beautiful with a lovely garden view. THe meals were made with care and were not only delicious but aesthetically beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the morning service with the monks which was very moving.
