The monks were friendly and welcoming, food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the ceremony in the morning! morning!

We enjoyed our visit. The monks were very friendly and serviceable. Our room was large and beautiful. Everything was clean and surprisingly modern. We participated in the morning service and the following guided tour through the different parts of the temple. The tour was only in Japanese so we did not understand a single word. It would have been helpful to have a leaflet in English language. The English version of the internet site for booking not so comfortable. It took me some time to figure out the booking process and the offers. Maybe it could be improved to be more user-friendly.
