It was the best experience that we live in japan ! The place was very clean and comfortable, dinner excuisite ! The temple and the room was like old japan… This is exactly the image and the experience that i was hoping to live in Japan ! The temple was so beautiful and a very good place to be ! Go for it ! You can’t be in japan and note live this experience !

We are delighted with the management that Koyasan Subuko did for us in finding a temple to spend a night. We stayed at the Sanbo-in temple. We liked it a lot, we found it to be a very welcoming, simple and friendly community, with beautiful facilities. We were very comfortable, we liked the food, the onsen, the garden and we participated in the incense prayer. We are very happy with our stay at the temple. Arigato gozaimasu.

Everything was great - from the arrangement to the stay itself. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. Sainan-in Temple was really peaceful and everyone was super nice. I really recommend a stay at Koyasan for everyone who has the opportunity!

Our assigned stay is at Muryoko-in Temple. The place was under renovation, the garden was not well-maintained, and the inner place looked disorganized and dated. There was no clear instruction on how to get into the parking compound to check in. The facility lacked amenities, and the sandals were uncomfortable. The meals were chilled, and the food quality could be better. The futon base was thin and uncomfortable. Since only cash is accepted, a large sum of cash had to be carried just to pay for the stay. On our 18-day trip, this was the most disappointing visit.

We really loved our visit to Koyasan. What a fantastic experience. We stayed at Sekisho-in temple which was a really peaceful and beautiful place with an especially beautiful garden. The two meals were both great and we slept very well. We also enjoyed partcipating in the morning service. Only slight criticism was that there was a tour party there and they made us move from our seats during the service as somehow they had priority. I think it should have been first come first served for the seating. The town itself and the amazing Forest graveyard are also fantastic to visit. Overall an incredible and wonderful experience. Highly recommended 👌👌👌

We would have liked to have been informed in advance that the temple was being renovated. This somewhat detracts from the overall picture and, of course, there is noise during the day. The ceremony was very beautiful.

Esperienza altamente sconsigliata! Koyasan è un luogo bellissimo immerso nella quiete e nella natura. Il tempio dove abbiamo alloggiato, simon, è un luogo tradizionale e suggestivo. Purtroppo la gestione dei monaci, piuttosto scortesi e per niente spirituali, rende tutta l'esperienza piuttosto fredda e all'insegna del mero guadagno. Mentre alcuni di noi assistevano alla preghiera mattutina delle 7, altri monaci, con fare affrettato e sbrigativo, entravano nelle nostre stanze togliendo il tatami ed esortando chi era rimasto a dormire di andare a fare colazione per liberare la stanza. I bagni puzzavano e l'acqua era gelata. Considerato che abbiamo speso €137,00 a persona per dormire,pcena e colazione ...molto coreografiche ma di poco valore...i monaci hanno messo su un bel business! Se potete cercate una guest house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Shojoshin-in Temple. It was a wonderful experience that we'll long remember.
