ci è piaciuto molto essere vostri ospiti, esperienza ottima per il contesto. posto semplice curato e pulito. buona la cena e la colazione vegetariana. è stato molto suggestivo partecipare al rito del mattino e visitare il tempio e le sue stanze. l'unica cosa è che quando abbiamo chiesto di avere un asciugamano per fare l'onsen ci hanno detto che la nostra prenotazione non prevedeva la fornitura dell'asciugamano ma quando noi abbiamo prenotato non c'era l'opzione di scegliere altrimenti avrei scelto sicuramente con la dotazione dell'asciugamano. poi abbiamo chiesto di averlo e pagarlo lì direttamente ma ci hanno detto che non era possibile. grazie comunque per l'esperienza

Good location and fantastic experience. Especially with the morning ceremony. Take note that this is a temple lodging and there will be minimum customer service provided. Public bath closes at 9pm, so for guests attending the night tour at the cemetry, there will not be enough time to use after the tour is finished.

The younger monk who checked us in was quite rude and disrespectful. We did not feel welcome upon arrival. He was aggressive about us wearing shoes even after we understood him and were in the process of taking them off. He spoke no English so we had to use a translator on our phones the entire time and communication was difficult. I’ve stayed in monasteries, ashrams, and other temples before, and the service here was unfortunately the worst. I did appreciate he was willing to set up another bed in my room to accommodate a friend moving from another room. The food was delicious. The chanting was divine. The place was clean. Most everything apart from the service was wonderful.

Fantastic experience. The temple and the room are very quiet, clean and pleasant. It was great to be able to attend a traditional ceremony in the morning. Vegetarian menus were very good, healthy and nutritious. Thank you very much for your welcome.

The rooms were beautiful, including the dining room and the prayer hall where we attended the morning prayer. Everything was very calm. The food was very specially prepared and presented. It is a pity that the monks didn’t speak much English, it would have been nice to talk a bit with them. Also, I thought we would get the sutras to copy, but didn’t. It was a pleasant stay.

Ci tenevamo molto a soggiornare in un tempio a Koyasan. L'esperienza al Daien-in Temple ci ha fatto vivere appieno la sacralità del luogo. La cerimonia del mattino è stata molto emozionante, la stanza che dà sul giardino è bellissima, la cena e la colazione servite nella sala comune con gli altri ospiti sono ottime, la sala da bagno comune con la vasca di acqua calda ti ristora dopo una giornata ad esplorare il luoghi sacri di Koyasan. Abbiamo vissuto una magnifica esperienza. Grazie ai monaci che ci hanno ospitate e all'associazione che ci ha aiutato ad organizzare la nostra permanenza
